Hi and welcome to my Blog. I'm Georgina, the photographer behind Belle Etoile Photography. I hope you'll drop by regularly to keep up to date with my recent work, sneak peeks, special offers and general updates about Belle Etoile Photography. And of course hearing what you have to say is always interesting so please drop me a line or leave a comment whenever you feel like it. You can become a follower of my blog by using the link at the bottom of the page.

This is what we did today, that's the royal we by the way, infact it was the girls and the husband (I was the offical photographer) I have more to edit but this one caught my eye right off. Miss T hardly ever lets me take her photo, I mean I really really have to beg, not good as this gives the upper hand to the 3 year old, anyway today she was so interested in doing her pumpkin that she was more than happy to let me snap off a few.
I will add more images as I edit them, don't want her sisters feeling left out.
Tonight I went to the cinema and saw a great film, Julie and Julia apart from the fact that it made me realise I can't cook it also made me realise how little I use my blog. Never having really blogged before I have been using it as a place to do the sneek peaks of photography sessions I've had and that's pretty much it.
Well the film has inspired me to become an active blogger, or at least try to become an active blogger. I'm not wanting to lose to fact that this is a blog for my photography but my photography is me or at least a large part of me so I should also be using it as record almost like my memoirs of my photographic journey.
With that said I have decided that I am going to become one with my camera, the one I still refer to as new but have had since August and still haven't read the manual cover to cover, I am going to become a snapping fiend, not every photograph I take has to be the perfect portrait and not every post has to have photographs (this one won't it's 20 past midnight and I'm not getting the camera out now!) I miss looking at images of my kids just being themselves because I've got too caught up in having to have the best lighting, the right pose, the perfect outfit and the cutest smile. Of course I'm not giving up on the professional side of Belle Etoile Photography, far from it I want to push on full steam ahead but if I only use the blog to record those 'perfect' moments it's not going to get updated very often and therefore not be a very interesting blog.
So here's the me, here's to Belle Etoile Photography and here's to a new exciting life of blogging..........
All starting TOMORROW :)

I saw an image with a guitar a long time ago that I loved and have been wanting to try it out, well lucky for me I got the chance over the weekend. I had such a great time taking these photos, it was fun to work with an adult for a change, especially one who was more than willing to use his guitar and banjo as props.
